And remember, some of the best surfing beaches in the UK are within St Ives Bay, including Hayle Beach, Gwithian and Godrevy.  A 15-20 minute drive takes you to St Ives or Porthtowan.

Calmer waters can also be found for kayaking, SUP, and swimming.
